The Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum is holding an online fall bulb sale to raise funds to support environmental conservation efforts. Banneker was a keen observer of the natural world on his farm in Oella, and we honor that tradition as stewards of his legacy and his land. Current projects include bluebird boxes, Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly habitat restoration, a pollinator garden and invasive weed removal. In the future, we will expand out native plant gardens. We incorporate these projects into many family-friendly educational programs at the park. Thank you!
