Who can join the CWGC? Women interested in making our community a better place can join.
Do I have to live in Catonsville to join? While most of our members live in the Greater Catonsville area, we welcome members from any community.
What does it cost to join? The CWGC has several levels of annual dues depending upon your situation. All levels of membership have an equal say
All membership levels are valued and appreciated.
All levels of membership have an equal say. At all levels, 90% of your membership dues support grants. Dues amounts are confidential and seen only by the treasurer.
How often does the CWGC meet? Dues paying members meet each January for our Annual Meeting with the intention of achieving consensus on the selected grant awards. In non-pandemic times, the CWGC schedules two major social events; one in the spring and one during the Holiday Season. Additionally, the CWGC holds educational and social events throughout the year.
How is the CWGC structured? The CWGC has a leadership team composed of the co-conveners, co-treasurers, secretary, and the chairs or co- chairs of standing committees. The standing committees are: education, grants communications, membership, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Members are encouraged, but not required to join a committee. Ad hoc committees are designated as needed at the discretion of the leadership team. All decisions are made by consensus. The CWGC bylaws are available by request.

What does it cost to join? The CWGC has several levels of annual dues depending upon your situation. All levels of membership have an equal say
- $25 Student Membership –is a chance for students to network with women who live and work in the community, to see how philanthropy works at the local level, and to be a part of it.
- $100 Level – is for women who want to “try us out.” Members may choose to stay at this level for multiple years if they wish.
- $275 Level – is the Traditional membership.
- $500 and above – gives women the greatest opportunity to help sustain and grow our organization.
