Grant Liaisons
The Catonsville Women’s Giving Circle wants to expand our involvement with current grantees. So we created Grant Liaisons to pair a member with one of the nonprofit organizations that received grants from us in 2021. We already have 10 matches made.
COMMITMENT: Contact the nonprofit once or twice a month to check on what’s needed and ways the CWGC can spread the word or help organize the response.

• Lighthouse
• Mosaic Community Services

Baltimore County Arts Guild - collect art supplies, volunteer at events, join as a member.
Benjamin Banneker Historical Park - donation of clothing they can sell.

Concerts at 3 - advertise upcoming concerts to increase awareness and attendance
Lazarus Caucus - donations, volunteers to help with monthly birthday parties.

Catonsville Emergency Assistance (CEA)…
Volunteers to work with our program assistant helping clients when they come in to pick up their food, 2 hours one day a week (we're open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ) Monday through Thursday, volunteers to help with the phones including retrieving messages and calling people back to set up appointments, and answering the phone and referring callers to other agencies and organizations when they can't be helped at CEA, 2 hours a week. If someone can't commit to a specific time, they may want to be a substitute when one of the regular phone volunteers is ill or on vacation. Volunteers will be trained. And volunteers with skills in marketing, PR and/or graphic design. 410-747-4357
Lazarus Caucus…
Volunteers to help with or host the once monthly birthday party for the residents, held the first Thursday of each month from 6-7:30 pm, can sign up individually and just help out and sing/celebrate; hosting would involve coordinating cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches for 100 people and, if possible, $5 McD's gift cards for 10 people.
Always need socks and underwear; gloves/hats/scarves in the winter; and the reflectors for arms or legs for walking in the dark to job locations. 410-707-3433
Lighthouse…
In need of puppets, dolls for a doll house, a play hospital, autism cards. Toys are generally used for 4-10 year olds. Also, could use help brainstorming for new funding sources, or come give a talk. 410-788-5483
